To win the league you have to take serious points from your main rivals. So far we have taken 2 points from 9. Yes chelsea have done even worse than this but I dont think they will win it either.
Yes we lost a game to reading, but Manure lost to Bolton and the Arse lost to the Smoggies so honours even? I dont think so. These slip ups by the other big four are opportunities for us to catch up, not a painkiller for our self inflicted injuries.
We need to take every game in the league seriously. I appreciate the need for some rotation, but Rafa should do it piecemeal, swapping a player here and there to conserve energy. What drives us up the wall and most importantly loses us matches is when a team is put out which has no consistency. Also when we field another bonehead 'experimental' formation against an also ran side and get turned over. Manure have a great winning record as they are ruthless and merciless against minnows and giants alike, arsenal have great consistency and spellbinding team work. Until we learn from these teams we will not win the league.
I still think Rafa is the right man for the job and I have some pieces of advice.
1- please just pick your best 11.
2- 4-4-2. keep it simple
3 sell Momo to Juve. They obviously havent seen any videos from this season. Take the money and buy Kaka Kaladze, a top defender and the best score in scrabble since zidane hung up his boots.

Good win on Saturday, let's demolish Derby on Boxing Day.
Thanks Johnny.
Couldn't agree more with MOST of that... THEY slip up occasionally, and we rarely take advantage. WE slip up far too often, and they ALWAYS seem to make the most of it.
I don't think that Rafa has (or at least should have) more than one more season left, if he cannot have us in genuine contention this time next year, imho. If we're not still in it next Easter, it's time to go...
Thanks for listening & commenting - We all appreciate it.
Cheers
D.
