Great show, guys. You sounded as happy as I was yesterday. I was fretting at the start - I did not quite get Gerrard on the left, and I thought the 4-4-2 with Kuyt in midfield was surprising given the need for just a clean sheet. Then again, that's why Rafa is the manager and I'm a finance guy in Texas.
I have some very unhappy Gooner friends, but even they can't deny the quality on the field and the spectacular quality of the match. Yes, it was a penalty - whether or not it was one in leg 1 is open for debate, but that does not change the correct decision in leg 2. And, as a 606 emailer pointed out, Liverpool did actually win by 2 goals.
By the way, Cultofjeff is just the name I had to choose on blogger - my name is Jeff and I am actually a member of the club - I just do not get over to Trinity due to geographic restrictions. I do hope there is another viewing in Victory Plaza on May 21st where I can introduce myself to you.
